What Is Message Speed #
Message speed means the time it takes for one message to be sent after the previous one.
For example, how long message #2 takes after message #1 is sent.
This time is not the same for every message.
It changes as the campaign runs, and the speed slowly increases as more messages are being sent.
What Affects Message Speed #
Message speed depends on many things inside PenguinDMs.
These things are not controlled by the user.
The main factors include:
- Load on the server
- How many users are sending at the same time
- How many campaigns are running in the system
- How fast Slack responds
- Internal system processing before sending each message
- Small safety checks done between messages
Because of these factors:
- Message speed is not constant
- Some messages go faster
- Some take more time
- Speed can change during the campaign
We Are Improving It #
We know the current message speed is not ideal.
We are fixing bugs first, and then we will start improving the sending speed.
Our goal is to make sending faster, smoother, and more stable while keeping everything safe.
